I did what we’re told to do.
I went to college. Built a career. Worked for major organizations. I learned how big businesses operate. I saw what worked, and what didn’t.
But my understanding of business started long before corporate America.
I grew up around the trades. I spent years working in restaurants. I saw firsthand the people behind the businesses we depend on every day: the owners, employees, and families who built them.
Somewhere along the way, I realized I had confused the corporate dream with the American Dream.
The American Dream I believe in is still out there.
It’s the family restaurant that’s been on Main Street for 40 years. The woman opening her first boutique. The contractor who built a company from his trade. The local manufacturer competing against companies ten times its size. The couple bringing an old motel back to life.
Those are the businesses I want to work with.
So I’m taking what corporate America taught me and bringing it back to Main Street.
But I’m changing the way the work gets done.
I’ll travel to your town. Walk through your doors. Find you on Google. Use your website. Buy your product. Experience your service. Talk to your customers. Listen to the people actually doing the work.
Before I tell you what I think, I want to see what they see.
Then I’ll look behind the curtain.
I’ll learn your processes. Your data. Your technology. Your brand. Your operations. Your customer experience. What’s working, what isn’t, and what you might not realize you’re missing.
Maybe the problem is marketing.
Maybe it’s operations.
Maybe customers love what you do but can’t figure out how to buy it.
Maybe you have a great product nobody knows exists.
Maybe your employees are wasting hours fighting a process that shouldn’t exist in the first place.
Or maybe the problem you called me about isn’t actually the problem.
That’s what I’m there to find out.
I don’t arrive with a predetermined solution to sell you. I start with your business, your customers, and the people doing the work. Then we figure out what actually needs to change.
I know the frameworks. I know the analytics. I know the processes. I know the corporate language.
More importantly, I know the advantage those resources can create.
Big companies have teams, tools, data, systems, and specialists dedicated to solving problems and finding opportunities. Independent businesses are expected to compete with them without having any of that down the hall.
I think we can level the playing field.
I learned the corporate playbook. Now I’m bringing that advantage back to Main Street.
Not the corporate bureaucracy. Not the buzzwords. Not a hundred-slide deck telling you what you already know.
The parts that actually work.
I speak corporate. I don’t consult like corporate.
